About Millcroft Fitness & Wellness

We are a group of certified health and fitness professionals who are passionately committed to helping you achieve your personal best. We offer personal training as well as group training in indoor cycling (spinning), fitness based fusion of yoga/ pilates, strength and core conditioning, BootCamp workouts as well as kids fitness, junior team athletic training, running clubs, learn to run 5km, 10km and half marathon clinics. Millcroft Fitness is also home of Fit Chicks & Mens Fitness two highly popular small group personal training programs.

Personal Best - Your Weight Loss Solution is our weight management program that combines physiotherapist supervised functional fitness with nutrition counselling with our registered holistic nutritionist. The Team at Millcroft Fitness & Wellness

Janicke Ziemer
Janicke is our studio director and founder of Millcroft Fitness & Wellness. She holds a degree in physical and health education from Queens University and is a certified personal & group trainer. She also holds numerous certifications through Can Fit Pro, ACE, Body Training Systems, Madd Dog Athletics Spinning, OASES, Ballys, Polestar Pilates and the Heart & Stroke Foundation. She has also completed many intensive trainings through Stott Pilates as well as with some of the industry's best yoga teachers including Donna Read, Hart Lazer and Christine Feldsted. Janicke has been personal training, teaching group exercise as well as managing large high end sports clubs in the fitness industry for over 20 years and is currently a proud alumni ambassador for Lululemon and is a competitive adventure racer, runner and triathlete. Janicke is a two time Boston Marathon finisher and has ten 1st place age group finishes in duathlon/triathlon in the past 6 years.

Micheal Convery
Micheal is a certified personal trainer extraordinaire ! He is a certified spin instructor and heads up our mens fitness small group personal training. Micheal has completed numerous marathons and is an ironman ! His passion is fitness and he is proud to show it ! His one on one and group sessions are so creative…no one ever does the same workout twice !

Sue Clark
Sue is a certified personal trainer with Can Fit Pro and is currently one of our very inspiring Fit Chicks trainers. She is a competitive runner and extremely passionate about fitness and wellness ! She is a lean mean machine who loves to share her awesome tips and success stories !

Tracey Jamieson
Tracey is a Can Fit Pro certified personal trainer as well as fitness instructor, certified in First Aid and CPR, YMCA certified in Individual Conditioning and Group Fitness.. She has worked for the YMCA for over 10 years managing the Fitness Centre, Personal Training program as well as the Aerobics department. Tracey has a passion for fitness and always enjoys a challenge. Tracey also enjoys distance running and has completed many full and half marathons and in the past few years has enjoyed training and competing in trail running.

Dr. Paul Ziemer
Dr. Paul has been a chiropractor for over 14 years and also holds a Bachelor of Science in physical and health education from Western University. He has been a certified personal trainer through ACE and was in the first group in Canada to get Spinning certified ! He is the founder of Canadian Laser & Pain Therapy.

Bridget Smith Registered Massage Therapist
Bridget is a graduate of the Ontario College of Health and Technology in Stoney Creek, Ontario. During her educational endeavors, Bridget has obtained valuable hands-on working experience in a variety of occupational settings including therapeutic clinic, hospice, running and sports events throughout the Niagara region. These educational experiences were of personal significance to Bridget who not only enjoys staying active and running but has an extensive 20 year background in the healthcare field serving the needs of palliative and chronic care individuals in both a residential and institutional environment. Bridget has also received training in kinesiology, aromatherapy, hot stone massage and sports injury rehabilitation.

A caregiver at heart, Bridget believes an active lifestyle, good sense of humor and a positive outlook are key in obtaining success and happiness in personal and professional life. Her motto is to laugh out loud and do at least one good thing each day! She is committed to helping you obtain your health and wellness goals and looks forward to the opportunity to serve your individual needs from the preventative and rehabilitative role of a registered massage therapist.

Kelly Sherrington – registered holistic nutritionist
Kelly is a registered holistic nutritionist and a certified personal trainer.
Kelly has become an avid runner and is one of our run clinic assistants.

Sue Clark
Sue is a certified personal trainer with Can Fit Pro and is currently one of our inspiring Fit Chicks trainers. She is a competitive runner and extremely passionate about fitness and wellness !

Chris Boucher
Chris is a Can-Fit-Pro certified Personal Trainer and TPI certified Golf Fitness Instructor with 20 years experience within the fitness industry. Founder of Custom Fitness, Chris specializes in one-on-one and group personal training, golf-specific workouts, VO2 assessments and metabolic training. He is also known for his calorie-blasting boot camp classes. An outdoor enthusiast, Chris enjoys kayaking, hiking and cycling.

Jane Watson
Jane is a Can-Fit-Pro certified personal trainer who has been actively training for the past five years. She enjoys working with those new to fitness, helping them achieve their fitness and weight loss goals. An avid exerciser, Jane has led 5K Learn-to-Run groups, enjoys functional training, kayaking, cycling and hiking.

Mike VanDenBosch
Mike is an avid adventure racer, trail runner, photographer and spinning instructor extraordinaire !


Lisa Drewry
Having lived and worked as an expat in four different continents over the years, diversity is perhaps the most appropriate word to describe Lisa’s life experiences and nature. Lisa had always been proactive in competitive sports at school and decided to transition from teaching to fitness instructing soon after relocating from the UK to Canada several years back. Lisa is currently a Can-Fit-Pro Fitness Instructor Specialist and has been instructing a variety of Groupfit classes including Boot camp, cardio, muscle/core conditioning, functional fitness and many more! Lisa is also a certified indoor cycle instructor, Mind and Body Specialist and most recently certified as a Personal Trainer Specialist, through Can-Fit-Pro. Lisa prides herself in being the best that she can be mentally and physically and hopes to continue pursuing such goals by motivating and inspiring others around her, through her own life experiences, to be the best that they can be. Lisa is a proud new mom to baby Lexie !!

You will leave her classes and sessions feeling fitter, stronger, inspired and more capable of taking on the world both physically and mentally. Two of Lisa’s favourite sayings; “Long live those who pursue their goals and dreams in life and remember... You are always stronger than you think you are!!”

Sonja Broadbent
Sonja is a certified indoor cycling instructor as well as competitive runner and triathlete and physical education teacher. Her passion is fitness and truly lives life without limits. Sonja is our awesome half marathon run clinic leader.
